Team K is actively involved in martial arts events at every level.
Our students don’t just compete; we participate in the larger community by supporting, managing, and helping operate events under US-KTL.
Whether you’re stepping into the ring or working behind it, events are where experience is achieved.
Competition:
Competition is a core part of what we do. We host and participate in events that welcome athletes of all ages and experience levels, from first-time competitors to seasoned veterans. Our focus is on creating a fair, well-organized, and supportive environment where every participant can challenge themselves, gain confidence, and walk away with a positive experience.
We believe being part of competition goes beyond just showing up to compete. As students gain experience, they’re given opportunities to get more involved by assisting with events through roles like refereeing and judging. With proper training and guidance, seasoned students help support the competition environment while learning how events work behind the scenes. It’s a natural next step that builds responsibility, confidence, and a deeper connection to the sport.

Our events are built for students, by students. At this level, experienced students are encouraged to step up, help lead their peers, and play a real role in running the event. It’s a supportive environment where leadership is learned hands-on, guided by those who once stood in the same place as today’s competitors.
